Mrs. H. M. Young Dies Sunday From Heart Attack
Funeral services for Mrs. Verona Vaughn Young, 32, of Forest Park were held Monday at 2 p. m. from the First Baptist Church, Forest Park with the Rev Hoy Farr officiating. Interment was in the Jenkinsburg cemetery under the direction of Abercrombie-Patterson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Young died suddenly of a heart attack while attending church services Sunday morning. She was a native of Butts county, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Vaughn, and a graduate of Jackson High School in the class of 1943. The Young family moved to Forest Park about four years ago from their home near Jenkinsburg.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall Young; daughter, Miss Karen Young; son, Norman Young; sister, Mrs. James Broach, Atlanta; brothers, H. H. Vaughn, Rufus and Alvin Vaughn of Jackson.
Pallbearers were Gervin Lewis, Victor Brown, G. W. Jones Jr., W. E. Vaughn, Howell Maddox and Oscar Young.
