Mr. Jackson T. Youngblood, Jr.

Mr. Jackson (Jack) T. Youngblood Jr., 68, of the Jackson Lake Community, died Wednesday evening at Sylvan Grove Hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack.
The funeral was held Friday in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson, with Rev. Stephen Hart and Dr. Ann Nell Fletcher officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro City Cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood was born in Plant City, Fla., the son of the late Jackson T. Youngblood Sr. and Orean Griffin Youngblood. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Mr. Youngblood was retired from Gifford-Hills Industries in Conley, and was a former resident of Jonesboro before moving to Jackson Lake. Survivors include his wife, Mate White Youngblood of Jackson; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack III and Pam Youngblood, Paul and Twyla Youngblood, all of Jonesboro, Mike and Ellen Youngblood, and John and Lynn Youngblood, all of Jackson; eight grandchildren; sister; Margaret Neundorfer of High Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
