Mr. Luther Youngblood

Last Rites For L. Youngblood Held Friday
Funeral services for Mr. Luther Youngblood, 78, who died Thursday morning, March 24th, at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jenkinsburg, were conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck McCrackin officiating. Interment was in Pepperton Cemetery.
Born October 13, 1889 in Jackson County, he was son of the late Johnny Youngblood and Mary Cain Young of Jackson County, Georgia.
Mr. Youngblood is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Youngblood of Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. W. D. Poston of Greenville, N.C., Mrs. Florence Powers of Lithonia; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were L. B. Rawls, Girden Cook, Frank Lofton, Luther Byars, Aubrey Williamson and Jack Evans.
