Thomas Joseph Zinner, III

Thomas Joseph Zinner III of Jackson died Monday, April 24. Mass was held Wednesday, April 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson with Father George Phillips officiating. A memorial service will be held in Philadelphia at a later date. Mr. Zinner was a native of Philadelphia, PA where he retired as a fireman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson, a part-time employee of the Griffin-Spalding County Health Department and a volunteer at the Henry County Jail.
Survivors include wife, Rita Baith Zinner of Jackson; daughters, Genniene Zinner of Oakland, CA, Michelle Zinner Knight of Hampton and Sharon Zinner of Phoenixville, PA; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Adie and John.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
