January first Saturday at home

Sabath day at home to day plesent.

Monday went to the general election

Shucked my corn -hands worked well done in good time.

Put up corn today

Covered corn and shucks do

Wilson and me hunted hogs cold

Hunted hogs to day and made pegs for shoes

Sabath day wind high at home

Helped granpap to kill his hogs

Salted paps meet.

Made shoes -two pair for Wilson

Made shoes for Wilson two pair

Made shoes for my self

Done different kinds of work to day.

Sabath day at home very warm

Shiled corn and made shoes for my self wint to mill in the eveningWilsons mill.

Came home from mill.

Hunted for hogs to day-found none -put fore hogs up.

Helped Wright to raise his house.

Hunted hogs to dayfound my sow-commenced getting stabe logs.

Worked at getting stabe logsAnn and me went to Robert Bensons.

Sabath day came from Bensons.

Worked at getting logs for stabe.

Worked at getting logs in the fore noon and roled logs for A. McKelvy in the evening.

Hunted hogs with Wilson

Went to John M Larty with (faded)

Made one pair shoes for Wilson.

Helped William Maqurt to raise his house.

Sabath day at home to day.

Getting logs to day I am 36 years old to day.
