1 Finished plowing corn by 12 o clock

2 Sabath day

3 Finished cutting oats very tired thrashed a grate deal this year for the public

11 I took the fever - very bad.

12-16 bad

17 fever-cooled some

18 fever about the same

19 about the same

20 about do

21 better -set up a little

22 better still

23 Road over to E.W. Maxwell my health is still improving.

24 I am still improving in health for whitch I desire to thank Almighty God for all his goodness to me we have all apairence of a bountiful crop -more than ever we made in one year by one half-I have had 8 bushels of wheat ground and 70 bushels yet.

25 I feel very nervious to day but I am still getting better -grate rain to day. I rested very bad last night.

26 Very nervious this morning bad cold -hevy rain in the evening -bad tooth ake at night.

27 Plesent morning -planted cucumbers to day for late ones to pickle if they are not too late.

28 Went to G. W. M Lartys and then to S. W. M Larty

29 Then to S. H. M Larty

30 Then came home -found George sick.

31 Very wet day wet all this month.
