September 1848

I went to Arnolds mill put up some fodder.

Worked at the fodder -warm and dry.

Sabath day at home.

went to mill and the boyes pulled fodder-like for rain.

Puled fodder -cloudy in the forenoon-some rain -very lite.

Puled fodder in the forenoon-very cloudy day.

Cliped sheep to day -very tired -like for rain.

Done no work to day-clear and cool the boyes worked some at the fodder-finished the fodder.

Commenced pulling corn-clear and cool day.

Sabath day at home.

Went to G.W. M Larty with the wagon.

Started to Atlanta.

Drove to Atlanta.

Stayed at town-rode on the cars to the store-Mounting and Back payed 50 cents.

Drove home to G. W. M Larty-rain

Came home - clear and cool

Sabath day at home to day- Margaret had her baby at night.

Went to G. W. M Larty

Started to market

Drove to Atlanta

At the Whig meeting

Started home.

19. At Jeames Stewerds all day.

20 Went to A. G. Weaingtons to se his daughter married

21 Came home from the weding.

At paps in the fore noon and gathered my apples- 28 bushels.

24 Sabath day- went to Jackson Baggetts.

Kiled a beef for pap.

Went to hunt my bull.

Sowed some wheat.

30. Went to John F. Morris with Ann.
