Ellen Frances Hicks Jones

Ellen Frances Hicks b. July 27, 1828 Ga. d. Nov. 15, 1902 Columbia Co., Ark. m. James Jones b. Pike Co, Ala - he enlisted in Civil War in Mar, 1862 in Griffin, Spalding Co. Ga., was captured at Sugar Creek Oct. 11, 1863, and died a POW in Indianapolis, Ind. Mar. 10, 1864.

They lived in Campbell County Ga. from 1861 to 1895 (Ellen & children are on the 1870 & 1880 census).

They left Campbell Co. Ga. in 1895 and went to Columbia County, Ark.
