Joseph T. Chesser

Funeral service for Joseph Thomas Chesser, 73, father of Mrs. Hamp Sirmans Jr., who died this morning in Memorial Hospital will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. The place will be announced later.

Chesser was an employee of the U. S. Wildlife Refuge in Charlton County for many years, retiring in 1962.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Iva Chesser, Folkston; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Gay Warwick, and Mrs. Hamp Sirmans Jr., Waycross; four sons, Wade Chesser, Vidalia, Bill Chesser and Joe Chesser, Jacksonville, FLA., and Aaron Chesser, Arlington, VA.; one sister, Mrs. Kate Wildes, Folkston; 20 grandchildren.
