Thomas Scott Jones

Jesup — Thomas Scott Jones, 15, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

The Jesup native was a member of Jesup  First United Methodist Church, MYF and Youth Council of the City of Jesup. He was a ninth grade student at West Campus Junior High in Jesup. was a member of Blue Devils football team and Wainright basketball team.

surviving are his mother, Mrs. W. D. Jones of Jesup; two sisters, Miss Susan Jones and Miss Kathie Jones, both of Jesup; three brothers, Johnny M. and Lindsay W. Jones, both of Jesup and Wibur David Jones of Waycross; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Katioe S. Wildes of St. Marys.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Jesup First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
