Funeral services for Mrs. Kate S. Wildes, 93, of Folkston, were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Glover and the Rev. Archie Carmichael officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Cemetery with Adkins Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Wildes, a native and lifelonf resident of Charlton County, dies early Yhursday morning in the St. Mary's Convalescent Center. The widow of the late James Maximillian Wildes, she was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Survivors include 3 daugthers, Mrs. Gertrude W. Johnson, Folkston, Mrs. Adderine W. Reynolds, St. Marys and Mrs. Kathleen W. Jones, of Jesup; six sons, Chris C. Wildes, Andrews S.C., Answel S. Wildes, Jacksonville, Fla., Wayne A Wildes, Surrency, and Julian Wildes of St. Marys; 27 grandchildre; 50 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
