William Owen Wildes
Wildes — Funeral services for William O. Wildes will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Key-McCabe Northside Chapel with Elder Herschell Griffin officiating and burial will be Restalawn Memorial Park. Mr. Wildes, of 508 East 63rd St., died Sayurday at a local hospital. He was born in Charlton County, Ga. and had lived in Jacksonville since 1918 and was a member of the primitive Baptist Church. Before his retirement he was associated with the Gulf Oil Corporation for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorrie D. Wildes,; his mother, Mrs. Kate S. Wildes; a daughter Mrs. Alberta Petry; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Johnson, Mrs. Kathleen Jones, amd Mrs. Aderine Reynolds; six brothers, Chris C., Answel S., Wayne A. Lawrence J. Harry C., and Julian M. Wildes; two uncles, R. H., and K. D. Wildes; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews of the deceased, Honorary, C. C. Lankford, Leonard Elvin, Searonia Snow, J. G. North, John F. Robertson and all Gulf Oil retires. The body will rest at the home from 9 a.m. today until the funeral hour.
