Uncle Ike Paulk Dead


Uncle Ike Paulk died at his home last Tuesday night, february 23, 1916, after a year's illness of consumption.He was the child of old Uncle Bill Paulk and Bettie Paulk, of near Ambrose.

The funeral was held at the Paulk cemetery, which was near his home. It was conducted by Rev. Mobley.

He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his death.
When he married, he married Margaret Paulk. She was the daughter of old man Handy Paulk. They were the father and mother of Henry Paulk who married Mary Herrin, and Ikie Paulk married Rosette Herrin; Annie Paulk, Charlie Jackson. Missie Paulk married Jim Redic. Elisha and Bow Paulk were not married but were staying with him at the time of his death. He also has several grandchildren.

May God be with his bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace.
