Contributed by Mary Ann Cannon
This cemetery is located about 2 miles west out of Doerun on Hwy 270 going towards Sale City. Immediately after crossing Bridge Creek, turn right on Bell Road (dirt). The cemetery is 0.4 miles down Bell Road on the left. It has been vandalized in recent years, and many of the headstones are broken. The cemetery is on the 490-acre farm originally owned by Stephen R. Smith, Sr., from about 1850. Before moving here, he lived just below Metcalf in South Thomas County, just above the Florida border.
The survey was done on 11 Nov 2003 by John and Mary Ann Cannon, Valdosta, GA
