Berrien County, Georgia, was created in 1856. The parent counties from which Berrien County was organized were Lowndes, Irwin, and Coffee. The county seat is Nashville. The Clerk of the Superior Court has land records from 1850, probate records from 1855, and Civil Court records from 1856. Probate Courthas birth and death records from 1919, and marriage records from 1856.
