Salem Primitive Baptist Church was accepted into the Flint River Baptist Association in 1828 and was constituted in 1829.

Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Crawford County was established in 1826 and STILL meets on the second and fourth Sundays. Visitors are welcome and needed.
Church records burned in a house fire about 1868.
