Byram Farm

 

Highway 5. At 11pm to 2pm is I-20, formerly Nick Byram Farm. 5-6pm is Academy Sports.

 

Highway 5. At 11pm in the picture is now where Academy Sports is. Formerly at 11pm was Ellis Men's Clothing. At 5pm is I-20. At the time of this picture 5pm was my grandfather's, Nick Byram, farm. At 2pm is Racetrac, Walmart..

 

My grandfathers farm went to where Chapel Hill Road crosses I-20 and where Arbor Place Mall is. I-20 ended at Chapel Hill. The federal govt extended I-20 to Hwy 5 condemning and paying him fair mkt value of his farm that occupied this property. Again, for a second time it was condemned and paid fair mkt value when I-20 was extended from Hwy 5 to Heflin Alabama.
