July 15, 1912
Miss Lizzie McLean
Dear Lizzie,
I will write you a few lines, we are all well as common. I have bin sick most
all of this year. I am better now than I have bin in a good while, I hope you
are all well, we are having a lots of rain and hot weather, Clada’s children has
all bin sick with the measles
they have about got through with them. Mamie Pearl and Jennies family are all
well, Lizzie get your mother off out here. Tell her Dora and her two little
boys are here with us now. They came last Tuesday night they will be here two
months tell her Dora said for her to be certain and come for she wants to see
her you come too if you can tell Oliver to come with his mother. I will close,
write soon.
