in and for said
county and State do hereby certify, that satisfactory evidence
has been exhibited
to me that within named Milly Jones was a pensioner of the
United States, at
the rate of Ninety Six dollars per annum; was a resident of
Jasper County in
the state of Georgia and died in Jasper County in the state of
Georgia in the
year 1857on the thirteenth day of October 1857; that the within
mentioned Joseph
Jones is the qualified Administrator on her estate and given
bond with surety
according to Law and in that capacity to receive said pension
and other assets
due the Estate and I further certify that Jno. F. Patterson, a
J of P whose
genuine signatures appear to the foregoing declaration and power
of attorney,
was at the dates thereof, in and for said County duly authorized
by law to administer
oaths and take such acknowledgements. that his commission
was dated the 11th
day of November 1858 and will expire on the 1st Saturday? of
January 1861 ????
said Milley Jones died a widow. IN testimony whereof, I have
hereunto affixed
my seal of office at Monticello this 28th day of July in the
year of our Lord,
1859.
