-- Ordinary's Office. February 21st, 1879 - Mathias Goodman has applied for
exemption of personalty and valuation of homestead, and I will pass upon the
same at 10 o'clock a.m. on the 15th day of March, 1879, at my office in
Fayetteville.

-- Ordinary's Office, February 5, 1879. Whereas M. L. Yates administrator of
Robert N. Harris, deceased, shows that he has fully discharged his trust and
prays for letters of dismission. All persons concerned are hereby notified
to file their objections, if any exist, on or before the first Monday in May
next, else letters of dismission will be granted the applicant.

Fayette County Sheriff's Sales for April
-- Will be sold before the Courthouse door in the town of Fayetteville, Fayette
county, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in April next, within the legal hours of
sale, the following property to-wit:
One hundred acres of land, being the south half of lot No. 8, and forty-five
acres off of the southwest corner of lot of land No. 120, all lying in the sixth
district of Fayette county. Levied on by virtue of and to satisfy a fi. fa.
issued from the Superior Court of Coweta county in favor of L. B. Griggs,
Ordinary of Fayette county, for the use of Tillman Burk, guardian, etc. vs. W.
W. Sibley, principal and Jane Edmondson, Administratrix of Eli Edmondson,
deceased. Property pointed out by R. T. Dorsey, plaintiff's attorney. Tenants in
possession duly notified. March 1, 1879.
Also, at the same time and place, twenty (20)acres of land out of the south side
of the lot of land No. 153, in the lower seventh district of said county. Said
land bounded on the north and west by lands of W. Slayton, on the east by lands
of L. L. Landrum and on south by lands of D. C. Stokes. Levied on as the
property of F. Landrum by virtue of and to satisfy a fi. fa. issued from the
Justice's Court of the 549th district G. M., in favor of L. F. Blalock vs. J. S.
Palmer and F. Landrum. Tenant in possession served with written notice of this
levy. Levied on by M. N. Davis, L. C. and turned over to me to advertise and
sell this January 28, 1879. Property pointed out by plaintiff.
Also, at the same time and place, the north half of lot of land No. 165,
containing one hundred and one and one-fourth acres, more or less, lying in the
sixth district of said county. Levied on as the property of William Glass by
virtue of and to satisfy a fi. fa. issued from the Inferior Court of said county
in favor of M. L. Yates vs. William Glass, and now controlled by W. W. Matthews.
Property pointed out by R. T. Dorsey, plaintiff's attorney. Tenant in possession
duly notified. This March 3, 1879.

Campbell County Sheriff's Sales.
Will be sold before the court-house door in the town of Fairburn, Campbell
county, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in April, 1879, between the legal hours of
sale, the following property, to-wit: All that tract or parcel of land
situate, lying and being in the town of Fairburn, Campbell county, Georgia; same
being a town lot in said town of Fairburn, Georgia, commencing at corner of Wm.
S. Harvey's lot on Campbellton street and running along said street to the lot
of Mrs. Abagill McKown; thence back in western direction to the property of
James R. McKown; thence along the
line of said lot in Southern direction to a corner of said lot; thence east to
starting point; the same being one acre and a part of land lot No. 68, in 9th
Fayette, but now Campbell county, Georgia, it being lot improved by O. A.
Cantrell and occupied by Judge Q. C. Grice as a dwelling; the premises now in
possession of said Grice and owned by him. Property pointed out by
plaintiff in fi. fa. and notice of this levy given to defendant in fi. fa. and
Dr. Wm. D. Young, who controls the property for the use and benefit of said
Grice. Levied on as the property of Q. C. Grice, by virtue of and to satisfy a
fi. fa. issued from Campbell Superior Court, August Term, 187, in favor of
Robertson W. Terry
against Q. C. Grice. Levied on as the property of Q. C. Grice. Property pointed
out as aforesaid and notice given as aforesaid. This March 4th, 1879.
