Gardner - Sheelor
Dr. J. Lee Byron returned Wednesday from Calhoun, Ga.,
where he attended the marriage of Rev. G. W. Gardner to
Miss Sudie Sheelor. It was the regret of all Calhoun to
lose Miss Sheelor from the church and society. The ceremony
was performed by Rev. A. J. Morgan of Acworth(Miss
Sneelor's pastor) assisted by Rev. A. A. Marshall of
Atlanta.
The groom is well known and loved in Jackson, having served
the Jackson Baptist church for two years as pastor, and is at
present one of the publishers and managing editor of the South
Carolina Baptist.
