Jarrett CemeteryJarrett Cemetery

Gillsville, Hall County, Georgia

Location: Mangram Mill Road at intersection of Harmony Church Road, Gillsville, Georgia.

This is survey of original Jarrrett cemetery at above location made by Gladys Jarrett Stowe and Linda Jarrett Bennett on December 4, 1999.

The following plots are located within a wrought iron fence with a single gate in the center of one side.  It is with the knowledge of Gladys Stowe that there have been plots in this area that are not presently marked.  One in particular, that belonging to a family slave, was found during the process to inter a family member.  It is possible that there are others including stillborn infants whose markers have deteriorated over time.

The descriptions of the markers are as near to exact as found, bearing in mind that because of materials used and the time that has past, some are barely if at all legible.  Pictures were taken to document most stones listed.
