Will of Joseph Armstrong

The Last Will and Testament of Joseph Armstrong of said State & County witnesseth;

Item 1st --I give and devise to my sister Elizabeth B. Armstrong all the money property and effects, I may have or own at the time of my death, of every kind and character whether the same be in possession, action or expectation my intuition being, that she shall stand in and occupy my place in relation to all my property and effects as fully as I myself would in life.

Item 2nd --I appoint my said sister Executrix of this will and testament and empower her to take immediate & full control of everything hereinbefore devised. I also release her as executrix from making any inventory thereof, and from making any annual or other returns of her actions and doings as executrix and from any other act usually connected with the administration of an estate, excepting only such as may be necessary, to secure & confirm her title hereto, my soul intentions being that she shall take full possession with the least possible delay and expense.

Item 3rd --Should my said sister Elizabeth B., die before I do, I hereby devise everything herein devise to her, to my sister Mrs. Margaret W. Villepigrel with all the rights powers and privileges in and over the same hereinbefore given to my sister the said Elizabeth B. Armstrong.

Signed declared & published by Joseph Armstrong as his last will and testament, in presence of us the subscribers, who subscribe our names hereto in presence of the said testator, at his request and in the presence of each other, he signing in our presence, and we signing in his presence.
