This Indenture made and entered into, this eighteenth day of December, eighteen hundred and twenty four between William Arnold of the County of Putnam in said State and Jacob P. Turner and William Arnold of the County of Hancock and state aforesaid, Executors of John Berry, late of said County of Hancock deceased. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Sixteen Hundred and Fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged, the said William Arnold hath granted bargained, sold & conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Jacob P. Turner and William Arnold executors aforesaid, ( all that land or parcel of land situate, lying and being in said state and County of Hancock on the waters of Buffaloe, adjoining Turner and others, containing by estimation two hundred and fourteen and one half acres, be the same more or less,) with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances, thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining.

To Have and To Hold, the aforesaid tract of land with its appurtenances, to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Jacob P. Turner and William Arnold executors of John Berry deceased, and the title to said tract of land, the said William Arnold for himself, his heirs &c will warrant and forever defend to the said Jacob P. Turner and William Arnold executors aforesaid against the claims of all persons whomsoever firmly by these presents

In testimony whereof, the said William Arnold hath here unto set his hand and seal, the day and year aforesaid.
