This Indenture made this 30th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, and in the Eighteenth year of the American

 Independence. Between John Berry of the State of Georgia and Hancock County of the one part & John Lane Harrasson of the said state and Hancock County of the other

 part. Wittnesseth that the said John Berry for and in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds current-money in hand to him paid by the said John Harrason the----- hereof

 the said John Berry doth hereof acknowledge he hath Bargained, Sold and by these presents doth - Grant - Bargain Sell and deliver unto the said John Harrasson his heirs

 and assigns. (A Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Hancock on Ogechee River containing one hundred and twenty acres be there more or less.

 Beginning on the river a Red x Oke x running South East start with north this line against the Big Stony Hill, and thence running a direct course on the South side of the

 said big Hill down to Linsecum spring branch, and down the said spring branch to the waggon rode and thence along the old line down to the river to a poplar). Together with

 all and singular the members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining. Revisions, Remainders, Rents and Emoluments whatever unto the said

 John Harrasson his heirs or assigns, to their only proper use and behoof to him John Harrasson heirs and assigns forever and the said John Berry himself his heirs and

 assigns will warrant & forever defend the said Tract of Land and premises unto the said John Harrasson his heirs and assigns forever against all lawful claims of person or

 persons in testimony whereof he the said John Berry hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written.
