The mid-1880s through 1900 represented boom years for Haralson County. Advertising was published nationwide promoting the healing waters of Lithia Springs. Individuals and families came to Haralson County that were natives of Canada, Italy, Hungary, England, Wales, Austria and many other countries and states. Population increased from 5900 in 1880 to 12,000 in 1900.
