Last Will & Testament of Henry H. KEY



Note: Both Henry and Anna Key are buried in Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery. It is west of what was then called Chipley, but now called Pine Mountain. According to their tombstones Henry was born Jan 10, 1799 and died Aug 7, 1872. Anna was born Sep 9, 1802 and died Apr 5, 1890.


State of Georgia } I Henry H. Key of Said County
Harris County } Knowing the uncertainty of Life ??? right and Proper both as to respect myself and my family, that I Should make a disposition of the Property with this my Last will and Testament.
1st Item I desire and ???? that all my Just debts to be paid.
2nd Item I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Anna B. Ky all the rest of my Property of Every discription both real and Personal.
3 Item I do hereby appoint and Constitute my wife Anna B. Ky Executrix to this my Last will and Testament. She Shall not be Required to make out any Inventory or appraisement of my Estate neither Shall She be Required to make any Returns to County, but She may take full possesion of Said Property in her own right. June 11th 1870
