Full Title: AN ACT to authorize a grant to issue to George Crumbly, as
administrator of the estate of Anthony Crumbly, deceased.
WHEREAS the
said Anthony Crumbly, in his lifetime, became the purchaser at Sheriff sale of
the west half of lot number 242 in the 7th district of Henry county, which lot
had been condemned as fraudulently drawn; and whereas the said Anthony, and the
said George as administrator, have fully paid the purchase money, but the
certificate of purchase having been lost, no grant can issue; for remedy whereof
--
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the
authority of the same, That the proper officers of this State be and they are
hereby authorized to issue to the said George Crumbly, as administrator of the
estate of Anthony Crumbly, deceased, a grant for the said west half of lot of
land number two hundred and forty-two (242) in the seventh district of Henry
county.

Citation
having been duly issued and published requiring all and singular the next of kin
and creditors of Micajah Jones late of said county to appear at this time and
show cause if any they could why permanent letters of administration should not
be granted to T.R. Jones of said county.

in the ….. It is ordered by this court that letters of administration issued to
T.R. Jones as administrator of Micajah Jones upon his giving bond and security
in the sum of Fifteen hundred dollars with W. G. Jones and Wm. Burns taking the
usual oath of office. And it is further ordered that W. G. Burns, R. A.
Hightower, T. M. Gamage, Wily Milam and Isreal Askew freeholders of said county
be and they are hereby appointed appraisers of the estate of Micajah Jones
deceased and that the usual warrant issue.
Upon the application of T.R. Jones administrator of Micajah Jones, it is ordered that said T.R. Jones administrator of aforesaid have leave to sell the personal property belonging to the estate of Micajah Jones deceased after giving notice of such sale b written advertisement for ten days at three of more public places in said county.
Notice of the application for leave to sell the land belonging to the Estate
of Micajah Jones deceased having been published as required by law and no
objections being filed to the granting of said application and it appearing that
it is necessary or the purpose of paying the debts and sharing distribution
among the heirs of said deceased that said lands be sold. It is hereby ordered
that leave be granted T.R. Jones administrator of said deceased to sell the land
belonging to said Estate lying in said county consisting of the home place
containing ninet eight acres of land being part of lot No 92 in twelfth district
of Henry County.

Presents, That we T.R. Jones principal and W. G. Jones and W. G. Burns
securities are held and firmly bond unto His Honor, George M. Nolan, Ordinary of
said county for the time being, and his successors in office, in the just and
full sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which sum to the said
Ordinary as aforesaid, and his successors in office, we bind ourselves, our
heirs, executors and administrators, in the whole and for the whole sum, jointly
and severally and firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and
dated this 7th day of September 1885.
The condition of the above
Obligation is such, That if the above bound T.R. Jones Administrator of the
estate real and personal, of Micajah Jones late of this county, deceased, do
make a true and faithful inventory of all the estate, both real and personal, of
said deceased, while have or shall come into the hands, possession or knowledge
of the said T. R. Jones or into the hands or possession of any other person or
persons, for him and the same so made to exhibit into the said Court of Ordinary
when he shall be thereunto required; and such estates do well and truly
administer, according to the law, and do make a just and true account of his
actings and doings therein, when he shall be thereunto required by the Court of
Ordinary for said county, and all the rest of the said estate which shall be
found remaining upon the account of the said administration, the same being
first allowed by the Court, shall deliver and pay to such person or persons
respectively as are entitle to the same by law; and if it shall hereafter appear
that any last will and testament was made by the deceased, and the same be
proven before the Court of Ordinary, and the executor obtain a certificated of
the probate thereof, and the said T.R. Jones do in such case, if required,
render and deliver up said letters of administration, then this obligation to be
void; else to remain in full force. Signed, sealed and acknowledged in open

WHEREAS, Micajah Jones late of
said County, deceased, died intestate, while he lived, and at the time of his
death, divers goods, chattels and credits within the County aforesaid, b means
whereof, the full disposition and power of granting the Administration of al and
singular the goods, chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased, and also,
a final dismission from the Court aforesaid, does of right belong, and the said
Court desiring that the goods, chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased
may well and truly administered and legally disposed, do grant unto T.R. Jones
full power, by the tenor of these presents, to administer the goods, chattels,
rights, credits and lands of said deceased, which to him in his lifetime and at
the time of his death did belong; and to ask, demand, sue for, recover and
receive the same, and to pay the debts in which the deceased stood bound, so far
forth as his assets will extend, according to law; and then, the balance, justly
to pay over to the legal heirs and distributes of said deceased. And the said T.
R. Jones having given bond and security, and taken the oath prescribed by law,
and performed all other requisites necessary to his just qualification as
Administrator is by order of said Court, and by virtue of these presents,
ordained, constituted and appointed Administrator of all and singular the goods,
chattels, rights, credits and lands of the said deceased.

I, John Milner of said State and County being of advanced age
and knowing that I must depart this life, deem it right and proper both as
regards my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property
with which a kind providence has blessed me, do therefore make this my last will
and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.
First. I
give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Simmons three negroes to wit; a woman by
the name of One and her two girl children.
2nd I give and bequeath to my
daughter Martha Graden on negro woman by the name of Harriet.
3rd I give
and bequeath to my daughter Susan Cade the sum of two dollars together with what
she had received from me at the time of her marriage.
4th I give and
bequeath to my daughter Mary Knowles two negroes to wit; Lucy, a woman and her
son Henry.
5th I give and bequeath to my son Robert Milner one hundred
and sixty five acres of land in Henry County, adjoining James Campbell leasor,
he last had possession of this land for some time.
Item 6 I give and
bequeath to my son John M. Milner one negro man by the name of Cob and two
hundred and a half acres of land in Henry County, adjoining Henry Couch, he has
had possession of this land for some time.
7th I give and bequeath to my
son Joshua Milner two hundred, two and a half acres of land in DeKalb County
near Decatur and adjoining James Kirkpatrick and two negroes one a boy by the
name Jim, the other a girl by the name of Eliza, all now in his possession.
8th I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Milner one negro man by the name of
Adam, now in his possession. Remarks and Explanation. The property willed above
is in their possession or have been for some time, I have given it to them and
forever quit claim to the same.
9th Now at my death and after the death
of my beloved wife Susan, I give and bequeath to my son [blank] as before named
and my son Jefferson Milner and my son Jackson Milner and my son William Milner
the following property to wit; One negro man named Nelson, one negro man named
George and one negro woman named Betsy, one hundred and fifty two acres land in
the County of Fayette and fifth district, being part of lot No. 41 forty one,
one square of land Two hundred two and a half acres in 12 district of Henry
County adjoining Washington Morris, and all my stock of horses, mules, cattle
and hogs, my wagon and carriage and all my household and kitchen furniture, and
all the money due me, or that may be obtained in suit or that may be collected
from any suit in law after my death and the death of my beloved wife Susan this
is to be equally divided between my sons Jefferson, Jackson and William as above
named, but if either Jefferson, Jackson or William should die before the come in
possession of their share the surviving ones as above named shall be entitled to
his share of said property willed by me.
10th Now in as much as three of
these my sons to wit; Jefferson, Jackson and William are at this time mentally
deranged, I do desire that my son R. M. Milner should provide for the feeding
and clothing of them and in between take care of their share of the above named
property, and not give them the control of it unless they or either of them
should become sane and in their right mind and capable of taking care of it
themselves.
11th I hereby constitute and appoint my sons R. M. Milner and
John Milner my executors of this my last will and testament this 28th day of
March 1848.

By virtue of an order of the
court of ordinary of said county, granted at the December Term, 1910, will be
sold before the court house door of said county on the first Tuesday in January
next, within the legal hours of sale, the following property of the estate of S.
A. Wilson, deceased to wit: All that tract or parcel of land in land lot one
hundred and eighty-one (181) of the seventeenth district of originally Henry,
now said county of Fulton, containing thirty and three-fourths (30 3/4) acres,
more or less, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning on south
side of Pace's Ferry at a point where the west line of E. J. Wilson intersects
said road, and running thence south, along the line of Mrs. E. J. Wilson's land
one thousand three hundred and fifty-two (1,352) feet; thence west along the
line of C. A. Howell one thousand one hundred and forty (1,140) feet; thence
north along the line of lands of C. A. Howell, Sprayberry and Simpson one
thousand (1,000)feet, to the Pace's Ferry road; thence east along Pace's Ferry
road to the point of beginning.

formerly lived, in the twelfth district of Henry county, and one negro-man named

to an order of the Inferior court of Henry county, when sitting for ordinary
purposes will, on the first Tuesday in January next, within the legal hours, be

part of lots of land numbers one hundred and fifty-seven, one hundred and
sixty-three, one hundred and sixty-four, in the third district of said county;
and seven negroes, all belonging to the estate of Samuel Johnson, deceased -- on
the land, there is a large Tan Yard, in good repair, containing a small stock of
leather, (which leather will be sold with the personal estate on Tuesday the
second day of December,) and a Gin House and Store House -- sold for the benefit
of the heirs and creditors. Terms made known on the day of sale. October 14th,
1835.

Sale.-- On Friday, the 2d day of December next, will, within the legal hours, be
sold, at the lkate residence of Samuel Johnson, deceased, in Henry county, all
fo the personal property of said deceased, consisting of the present Crop of
Corn and Fodder, and about fifteen or twenty thousand pounds of Cotton in the
seed, a large quantity of leather of various kinds well tannned, and the stock
of leather in tan (with permission to work it out in the yards,) an ox wagon and
cart, some farming utensils, &c. -- sold for the benefit of the heirs and
creditors of said deceased. The sale to continue from day to day until all shall
have been sold. Terms made known at the sale. October 14th, 1835.

In pursuance of the last will of George M. Dodd, deceased, on the first Tuesday
in November next, will be sold at the Court-house door in Fairburn, in said
county, within the lawful hours of sale, fifty acres of land in the southeast
corner of lot of land number one hundred and thirty-three, in the thirteenth
district of originally Henry, but now Campbell county. Sold as the property of
George M. Dodd, deceased, for the benefit of the heirs and creditors of said
deceased. Terms cash. This October 6th, 1879.

Honorable Court of Ordinary of Fulton county, Georgia. I will sell before the
courthouse door in Atlanta, on Tuesday, November the 4th, 1879, within the legal

District of originally Henry, now Fulton county, bounded northeast by M. Lynch,
78 feet; southeast by J. J. Tolbert, [part of city lot 12] 60 feet; southwest by
