Received of Abel P. Wilson five hundred dollars in full payment for a negro boy by the name of Miles about nine years old the eleventh day of February next, the right and title of said negro I do warrant and forever defend as administrator of James C. Flemister deceased, against his heirs, executors administrators and assigns unto the said Abel P. Wilson his heirs, administrators executors and assigns and do warrant and defend he same from the claim or claims of any other person whatsoever unto the said Abel P. his heirs and assigns forever and do warrant the negro to be sound.
Given under my hand and seal this the 31st day of January 1848.
