William D Smith, Johnson County, page 11-13, dated 18 Oct 1860. Low state of health, but sound of mind. I give to my three grand daughters
Nancy Ann Elizabeth Beasly, Mary Ann Rotham Beasley and Ruth Jane Beasley, daughters of Redding Beasley by his first wife Mary who was my
daughter, a tract of land lying in the county of Laurens on Randal Creek containing three hundred and eighty seven acres more or less and three
hundred dollars. Said land and money to be placed in the possession of my two sons John G Smith and Joseph C Smith. Beloved wife Nancy the
use of the plantation and house whereon we now live. To my four children John G Smith, Joseph C Smith, Wiliam Kimbrel Smith and Elizabeth
Rowland, wife of Joseph Rowland the remainder of my estate to be equally divided. My three sons to be executors. Witnesses: James Hicks,

Holland Wright, Johnson County, page 13-14, dated 19 July 1859. Beloved grandaughter Lucinda H Webb, daughter of my son William A Webb,
bedstead and quilts, blankets, sheets and $500. Negro girl named Mary. Sons William, John and Elie. To son Giles G Webb $200 a year to be
paid for his support, I wish him to be kindly treated and well taken care of. Give $25 a year to my old negro man Charles, annually and $5.00 a year
to my negro woman Clarissa. They have been good and faithful servants. All other negroes to be appraised and divided between by sons William,
John and Elie. Elie O have London, Dave and his wife Milla and their three children, Sam, Dick and Tom. Id o not wish any of my negroes to be

Nathan Rowland, page 15-16, dated 19 April 1860. Beloved wife Sarah all this tract of land upon which I now live, containing 200 acres more or less.
Beloved daughter Nancy Rowland one cow and calf. Tract of land upon which Mrs Mary Rowland now resides known as the Brack land be sold and the
proceeds be equally divided between my oldest children: James S Rowland, Judah Oliver Rowland, Rebecca Rowland, Alexandra Rowland, Mary Moore,
Lydia Jones. Said tract 444 acres and the other 137. to daughter Ann Eliza Rowland and Margaret Rowland two tracts of land containing 400 acres and
the other 200 acres on the waters of Neal Creek, both tracts to be equally divided between the two children. Youngest children Julia Ann Zona Rowland
and Martha Ann Rowland be raised on the land upon which I now live and at the death of my wife Sarah Rowland it be equally divided between them.
