evening of the 15th instant, at the residence of Captain R. H. Barron,
of Clinton, Jones county, Mr. Daniel Pratt Griswold was married to Miss
Lucetta Melissa Brown.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. R, Foster, Jr. The attendants
were Miss Lizzie Griswold, of Jones county, and Mr. Robert H. Smith,
of Macon; Miss Mattie Brown, of Baldwin county, and Mr.
John T. Logan, of Macon; Miss Mattie Pritchett, of Bibb county,
and Mr. Willis B. Sparks, of Macon; and Miss Bettie Johnson,
of Bibb county, and Mr. Charles E. Brown, of Baldwin county.
The bride and groom were overwhelmed with
congratulations and many wishes of happiness. May they live long and prosper.
