	Advertisement in the Barnesville Gazette, 22 August 1907, Volume 41 In this building are housed some of the old buggies that were manufactured in Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia. In the late 19th century, Barnesville was noted for its many buggy factories, producing approximately 16,000 buggies a year. Before the advent of automobiles, everyone who was anyone purchased his fine buggy in Lamar County, Georgia. Below are photographs of a few of the buggies that are on display at the Old Crowder Brothers Scale House in Barnesville, Georgia.
