Lincoln County                                                                                          Pennington Lamar, Deputy Clk.

Know all men by these present that we Sam’l Davis & Nancy his wife of the State & County aforesaid do give grant & forever confirm & release all claims of title to one and one fourth acres of land which the place hereunto expressed represents to the Deacons of the old Rockey Spring Church and to the five commissioners of the Goshen Church & to all the successors in office for the express purpose of building a meeting house an for the use of all Christian societies what so ever, reserving to the Baptists one Saturday and Sunday in each month to be chosen by them & tis clearly understood that the different societies are not to interfere with each others days of worship unless by consent now we Saml Davis & his wife, Nancy Davis, do bind ourselves, heirs, assigns forever to warrant & forever defend, the titles of said land above deeded, & also the free privilege of water out of a spring called Goshen Spring against to said land for the use of said Goshen Meeting houses, & the public who attend it & do warrant a free pass way from said Goshen meeting house to said spring forever to the said Deacons & commissioners and their successors in office forever with a privilege of timber to build said meeting house of off the aganrots? (Adjoining) lands around said Goshen meeting house all of which we bind ourselves & to forever comply with under the penalty of the law, given under our hands this

The above plat represents one and one fourth acres of land where a meeting house is to be built to be known by the name of the Goshen Meeting House & surveyed at the request of the Deacons of the five commissioners of the Association.
