To the Superior Court of Said County, The petition of Artimisa Hawks Showeth that Louisa Black, John Gaddis and Samuel Gaddis heirs at Law of Louis Gaddis Dec'd late of Said County of Lumpkin is indebted to your petitioner the Sum of Five Hundred and Thirty Seven dollars for work and labor done for Lewis Gaddis during his life time, as willfully appear by reference to a bill of particulars hereto attached which account the Said Louisa Black, John Gaddis, and Samuel Gaddis heirs at law of Louis Gaddis deceased as aforesaid refuses to pay.
Wherefore your petitioner prays process may issue requiring the Said Louisa Black, John Gaddis and Samuel Gaddis heirs at Law as aforesaid to be and appear at the next Superior Court of Lumpkin County to be held on the third Monday in October next to answer your petitioners complaint.

Complaint for Debt
The defendants Louisa Black, John Gaddis and Samuel Gaddis heirs at Law of Louis Gaddis dec'd are hereby required in person or by attorney to be and appear at the Superior Court next to be held in and for Said County of Lumpkin on the third Monday in October next then and there to answer the plaintiff in an action of complaint for Debt, As in default of Said appearance Said Court will proceed as to Justice Shall appertain Witness the Honorable C.J. Wellborn Judge of Said Court this 14th day of August 1882.
