Augustin Satterfield
VS Libel for
Christopher C. Satterfield Divorce
To the Superior Court
Georgia of said County.
Lumpkin County
The petition of Argensatina Satterfield
of said county shows that on the 6th day of February 1878 she was
married to Christopher C Satterfield of said county and that your
petitioner and said Christopher C Satterfield lived together as husband
and wife until the first day of June 1878. And on the last named day
more than three years before the filing of this writ the said Christopher
C Satterfield without just cause wilfully deserted your petitioner and
has from the time of said desertion continuously persisted in the same
and resided apart from her. Wherefore your petitioner prays that she be
totally divorced from the said Christopher C Satterfield and that process
may issue requiring the said Christopher C Satterfield to be and appear
at the next superior court to be held in and for said county to answer
petitioner libel for divorce.
