The News from Yahoola

We are well please with your paper and as no one writes for Yahoola allow me to drop in a word.

There was no preaching at Yahoola Church the third Sunday.  The time was taken up by the members in confessing their faults during Christmas.  A number of them appeared to be so overcome by the splendid music of A. J. Satterfield's violin and other combinations that they cut the pigeon's wing a little, but said they would not do it again.  Their acknowledgements were received and peace now abounds.

B. C. McDonald and A. W. Woody are selling out to go West.  A. W. informs me that the pot hooks and fire shovel were sold, and said that meant something.  He also said he was going to subscribe for the Dahlonega Signal before starting for Kansas.
