==========================================More Arrests and Captures--On last Saturday evening while Marshals Robinson and Harbison were riding along the Ellijay road they saw a wagon before them which aroused their suspicions, and riding up to the wagon they commanded the driver to stop. Concealed under some fodder, they found two five-gallon jugs of whiskey and three one-gallon jugs of the same article. The two men in the wagon were arrested and brought to town. They were released on a bond of $200 each. The capture was made about four miles from here, and the wagon was coming this way. Ed Wells and Will Fitz were the men who were arrested.

==========================================Again Shot At--Good luck seems to follow Deputy Marshal Harbison. On Monday he went a short distance above Jay post office, in this county, and found in the house of William Gaddis, concealed under a bed, thirteen gallons of whiskey, which he seized and brought to town. Gaddis was not at home. While returning a short distance from Jay some person shot at him, the balls whizzing by his head. It seems to have been buckshot fired from a shot gun. This is the second time he has been shot at, but he seems lucky. The shot was fired from such a long distance that if the balls had struck anything they would not have penetrated.
