Porter-Fields Family       This picture is of James Watson Kenny Porter (b.10-8-1851 in Lumpkin Co. Ga.d.8-30-1930), son of Joseph Porter and Sarah A. Jane Moore Porter. Kenny is holding his grandson Steven Ransom Fields. Kenny's wife Nancy Elizabeth Free Porter (b. Oct. 1849 d. Aug. 1, 1936) is seated with their granddaughter Nancy Ovaline "Nanny" Fields (Pennington) standing beside her. James Cicero Fields, Lula Linie Fields (Burns) and Rebecca Magnolia Porter Fields complete the picture. Rebecca was the third child and first daughter of Kenny and Nancy's twelve children. I believe the picture to be taken circa 1912. Joseph and Sarah Porter are buried at Macedonia Cem. Lumpkin Co. Ga. Kenny and Nancy Porter are buried at Pisquah Cem. Lumpkin Co. Ga. Jimmy Fields, Rebecca Fields, and Steve Fields are buried at Mt. Sinai Cem. Lumpkin Co. Ga. Lula Burns is buried at Mt. Hope Cem., Dahlonega, Lumpkin Co. Ga.
