The title printed on the cover of this book is "Deed Record B-D-E: Transcribed." The first page of the book contains the following note:

Evidently, the original deed books B through E were at some point rewritten into Deed Book B-D-E (which apparently should have been titled Book B-C-D-E). There are several places where it appears likely that errors were made when the deeds were transcribed from the original books into Book B-D-E; i.e., some first and/or last names may have been copied incorrectly into the new book. However, no attempt has been made to correct possible mistakes in this abstract project. Names were copied, to best of the abstractor's ability, exactly as they appear in Deed Book BDE, and it is left to the researcher to draw their own conclusions about possible errors.
