This Indenture made the 3rd day of January in the year of our Lord  One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety - three , between J. T. Epps of the county of Madison of the one part , and Benj. B. Williams of the county of Oglethorpe of the other part:
Witnesseth: That the said J.T. Epps for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Ninety Four Dollars in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby  acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said B. B. Williams his heirs, and assigns all
that track or parcel of land situated and being in 382nd District G.M. Beginning at a stone on the bank of Pope Branch, thence N. 39.07 E. 28.37 to a Red Oak, thence N. 32.45 W. 30.47 to a stone, thence S.23.30 W. 26.55 to a Pine, thence S. 22.15 E. 24.98 to beginning corner containing sixty four acres or less adjoining lands of J. N. Kidd on the east, lands of Tom Dawnes on the north, lands of J. F. Gray on the west, lands of J. T. Epps on the South
To Have And To Hold The Said Bargained Premises with all and singular the rights memberes and appurtenances thereunto appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit and behold of the said Benj. B. Williams, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee Simple, and the said J. T. Epps the said bargained premises unto the said Benj. B. Williams, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, against the said J. T. Epps his heirs, executors and adiministrators, and against all and every other persons, shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents.
    In Witness, The said J. T. Epps has hereunto set his hand affixed his seal, and delivered these presents, the day and year first above written.
