Jessiah Human to Duren H. Meadows

Madison CountyThis indenture made this 20th day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty four between Jesiah Human of the one part and Duren H. Meadows of the other part, both of the county and State aforesaid - Witnesseth that the said Jesiah Human hath bargained, sold and conveyed to the said Duren H. Meadows for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid, the recept whereof is hereby acknowledged, before the sealing and delivering these presents, I the said Jesiah Human doth bargain, sell and convey unto Durin H. Madors all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county aforesaid on the waters of Holly Creek containing 90 acres more or less, the same being a part of a tract granted to John Darden, the said bargained land beginning at a white oak corner on Glasses branch running thence 88 E 24ch to a pine, thence N 19 E to a branch, thence down said branch to the creek, thence up said creek to a white oak at the mouth of Glasses branch, thence up said branch to the beginning corner, which described land and premesis I the said Jesiah Human doth warrant and forever defend with all rights, titles and interest in & to the aforesaid land and premesis with all and every part or appurtenances thereunto or in any wise belonging free from the claims of me, my heirs or any other person or persons whatsoever unto the said Duren H. Meadows, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year first above written.
