Unidentified Sheffield / Ruie Snipes?

Mary Lucretia SHEFFIELD Tiner, Booye (or) Rooye, Elizabeth Sarah Jane SHEFFIELD Rentz
The two ladies pictured are sisters.
Mary was also called "Mollie" and "Nig" by her family and friends. Mary Lucretia SHEFFIELD was the daughter
of Isham R. SHEFFIELD and Martha R. LANE. Mary was born January 17, 1854 in Early County, Ga. and died
November 5, 1915. Mary married Benjamin T. TINER.
The writing on the back of the picture lists the little boy's name as Booye (or) Rooye. It is hard
to tell if the first letter is a "B" or "R". COULD HE BE RUIE SNIPES? Elizabeth Sarah Jane SHEFFIELD Rentz
had a great-grandson named Ruie SNIPES. Ruie was the son of Ruby Clyde JORDAN and George W. SNIPES. Ruie was
the grandson of Gertrude "Gertie" Ester RENTZ and John Wright JORDAN.
Ruie was born about 1916 and died July 8, 1935.
Elizabeth Sarah Jane SHEFFIELD was the daughter of Isham R. SHEFFIELD and Martha R. LANE. Elizabeth was
called "Jane" by her family and friends. She was born January 24, 1846 in Early County, Ga. and died
December 27, 1922 in Pelham, Mitchell County, Ga. She married William James RENTZ December 10, 1868 in Miller
County, Ga. William was called "Tiner" by his family and friends.
