This Indenture made this the first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six between William Ellis and James R. George both of the County and state aforesaid Witnesseth that the said William Ellis for and in consideration of the sum eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted and sold and do by these presents grant bargain and sell and convey unto the said James R. George his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county aforesaid containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less fifty acres of which is a part of Lot No. 170 the east end the other 150 acres the west end of Lot Ninety one to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said James R. George & his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same to his and their proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple in testimony whereof the said William Ellis hath hereunto set his name and seal the day and year above written.
