Mrs. R. L. Corley Goes To Reward

Mrs. Fannie Corley, 54, died at her home, 1006 W. Broad street. Sunday afternoon following a long illness.

Mrs. Corley was reared at Yatesville, but had been living in Griffin for several years. She leaves many friends who mourn her passing.

She is survived by her husband, R. L. Corley, three sons, Robert, W. J. and Muillwood Corley; two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Cox and Miss Nona Mae Corley, all of Griffin; and three brothers. Andrew and Ed Jackson of Upson county and J. E. Jackson of Griffin.

The funeral was held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at New Hope church, near Yatesville. Elder Whatley officiated. Interment was in the churchyard with Frank S. Pittman, funeral director, in charge.

Her given name was Sarah Francis Jackson per family Bible records.

The son, "Muillwood" mentioned in the obituary was Artis Milward Corley, now deceased.
