Michael McManus
My ggrandfather, Michael McManus, born June 28, 1881 in Randolph Co, AL and died Aug 17, 1925 in La Grange, GA, according to a letter informing my ggrandmother of his death. I am trying to confirm his death place and obtain info from a death certif. He left home sometime after 1920 (from Hazelhurst, GA)... we think he died from TB, so maybe he left to safeguard his family.... I don't know if he died in a hospital or what.
Michael McManus married my ggrandmother, Alice Clifford Strickland in Hazelhurst, GA on June 17, 1906. I would like to find a marriage record/certificate and get any info there. Alice Clifford Strickland was born Feb 18, 1898, GA, and died Feb 11, 1971, Gaston Co, NC.
