My great-great grandfather, Emberson Brockman Thrash, b. abt 1825 in Troup Co. Ga, d. 1848. He was the son of John Thrash and Mary Strozier of Troup County. Married- Martha Jane Thrash-1847.(do not know where)
Moved to Polk County when he and Martha married. Owned an estate in Polk County. Was robbed and killed on his way "out west" to purchase more land. Martha was expecting his child which was a son, George Washington Allen Thrash.(my grandfather)
Never found Emberson Thrash's killer or his body
Martha remarried in Dallas County, Al to William W. Crimm.
Want any information on Emberson B. and Martha Thrash's marriage, land purchases, etc.
