He entered the confederate service Mar 1863 in Co B 22nd Ga
Batallion, Siege
Artillery and was with Johnson's army at Greensboro, NC.
Son of Reuben Underwood & Baralby Rolly Spain of Monroe, Crawford, Macon & Taylor Co. Ga.
