born in Virginia. He appears in the 1830 and 1840 census. He had four sons:
Hartwell A. Baldwin, Jefferson J. Baldwin and Madison Baldwin. Jefferson
J. was married to Mary Ann Watson in Walton Co. in 1846. If Larkin died

I am writing on a long shot that someone just might have some information
on Eliza Pendergrass Beck, and Absolom M. Beck. In the 1900 Walton County,
GA census, they had two surviving children, one which was my grandfather,
Absolom N. Beck. We never knew him, he married my grandmother, Mattie Luckey,
around 1913 and they had six children. By 1923 he had disappeared and no
one ever heard or saw him again. My grandmother and their children did not
even know his family, but thanks to a new web site of John Pendergrass's
descendants we found our grandfather Absolom Nixon Beck, via his mother,
Eliza A. Pendergrass Beck. If you have any of the names in your lineage
or have anything, no matter how small, I would appreciate hearing from you.
The names of Eliza and Absolom's children were Absolom Nixon Beck, born
1880; M. E. Beck 1878; H. M. Beck 1875; and J. W. Beck 1871. I also believe
that Absolom M. Beck was the son of George Beck, who was the son of John
C. Beck, who was the son of DeVault Beck who descended from Jakob, but I
can't quite get the dates to match. Any information will be gratefully accepted.
Thank you.
