Searching for any and all information concerning the HORNE or BOOTH families in the Warren County, Georgia area from 1780 to 1800. In particular I am looking for Elijah HORNE who married Mary Elizabeth BOOTH (daughter of James BOOTH) in the late 1700's - I have found an Elijah HORNE who married Polly BOOTH (perhaps Mary went by the nickname Polly) in 1797 which would fit right in to the time frame I am searching. If you have any HORNE's or BOOTH's in your line during this time or if you have any information at all on these families, please contact me - perhaps this is the puzzle piece I have been seeking.

Hi, I'm descended from James D. Lowe Sr. that lived in Warren County in the late 1700's.
I have little information on him, though it is believed he was married to an Elizabeth Hargrove. It is also quite possible that his father may be the revolutionary solder William Lowe whose name is inscribed on the granite marker located on the lawn of the Warren County Courthouse in Warrenton Georgia. If you have any information on either of these individuals I would be greatly appreciative

On Jan 24, 1804 Sukey Mullins married John Hardin in Warren County, GA. On the same date Luckey Mullins married John Hardy, same county. In 1800 I find several Hardins and Mullins in Franklin County but none in Warren. I have also found that Sukey and John Hardin's children were born in Warren County. Eliza, b abt 1806, Lodoiski b abt 1813, George A. B. b abt 1815. I know a great deal about John's family, backwards and forwards, but nothing about Sukey's (& possibly Luckey's?) family. I think they could possibly be sisters. Does anyone have any info at all that could help me identify Sukey's family? John and Sukey are my ancestors. I sure would appreciate some help.

I'm looking for details about James Napier who died in Warren County in 1798. He was a Rev War vet whose name appears on the DAR monument in Warren. We do have his service records, but I am interested whether his grave still exists and, if so, what is written on it -- specifically if there is a date or place of birth. His will appears in the probate records for 1798.

I'm also trying to find the grave of his wife, who we believe to be Mary Thompson (Tompson) Napier. She may be buried alongside him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello
I am Mechie Taylor a researcher from Wilkes County.

The 1860 Census shows my GGG Grandmother, Katie DICKEY (age 11) as 1 of 2 slaves owned by Methodist Clergyman, James DICKEY. Minister DICKEY pastored the Smyrna Church (here in Wilkes) from 1860-1861 but was originally from Walker County. The 1850 Census shows him still living with parents/siblings and owning no slaves.

There is oral history that supports my Grandmother being owned by a CODY from Warren County. It is said that she often reflected on times spent with "Master CODY" on his "plantation" and that she spoke of having a Sister named "Allie".
Katie's Death Certificate lists her Mother as Katie WILLIAMS.

To date, I have not found any other supporting information.
I am seeking anything (bill of sale, marriage record, will, inventory, church record) that would link a DICKEY to a CODY.
Our Family Website: http://www.georgiaroots.com

Any assistance would be most appreciated.
