however, Shadrach Flewellen was her guardian following her father's

In reviewing the old Warren County Queries, I noticed there
have been several queries having to do with the Fowler family. I have two
women, Elizabeth and Nancy, who married Darden brothers. The first was
Nancy who married George W. Darden the 6th of December 1853 and an
Elizabeth who married Jonathan W. (John W.) Darden about 1855. The source
for Nancy's marriage is a marriage record in Warren County; the marriage
for Elizabeth is an estimation based on census record. Would anyone have
proof that Elizabeth and/or Nancy are daughters of Nathan Fowler? Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am researching the death of Jonathan Darden (and maybe
Martha "Patsy" Stone Darden) who died about 1834. He was the son of
Jethro and Ellender Perkins Darden. He was married to Martha Stone and had

I have copies of some of the settlements of the guardian. Is there a
newspaper in the county or area that might would have carried an obituary?
I didn't find Patsy in the 1840 census, but perhaps I need a closer
examination of those. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on Burrell Sanders and Nancy Lindsey, who
married on January 3, 1814 in Warren County, Georgia.
Does anyone know about them, especially if they continued to live in
this area (don't see them on the 1820, 1840 or 1850 census)?
I am trying to find a Sanders male with a wife named Nancy who married
about 1815 or so and was living in Washington County Georgia by the
early 1830's (maybe sooner). This man would have been born in NC. He
died between 1838 and 1848, as far as I can tell. His wife Nancy
survived him and moved to Pike County, Alabama, before 1850. Nancy was
born about 1800 in Georgia.
They had the following children that I know: Jeremiah (abt. 1816),
James (abt. 1818), Lucinda (abt. 1824), Martha (abt. 1826), Thomas (abt.
1832), Elizabeth (abt. 1835) and William (abt. 1838). All these
children moved to Pike County, Alabama.
I know there is a Burrell Sanders on the Washington County census with
children that fit these ages, but I was told his wife's name was
Elizabeth and she predeceased him. I don't know the source for that
information, except he doesn't seem to have a wife listed on the 1840
census.
If anyone has any information about this Burrell and Nancy, I would
appreciate their sharing, if for no other reason than to add to my
confusion.
